Clay Mates Membership
Membership is offered to those that have completed a four/five/six week course with us or one day wheel workshop (full day not one-off session)
If you have completed the dinner set workshop- please book in to a one-off hand building workshop before booking in as a clay mate.
Membership will be offered as 3 options:
Once off 2hr session
Weekly pass
Subscription (billed monthly - 3 month minimum)
*Members are to book into a check in session for each session they attend the studio
Claymates are welcome to come in during our opening hours:
Monday 10:30am-8pm
Tuesday 10:30am-8pm
Thursday 10:30am-8pm
There will be additional weekend availability alongside workshops - please see website for when those are running. School holidays will also affect opening times
Terms & Conditions:
Use of equipment, tools and house dipping glazes are included in the membership.
No firing is included in the membership - fire costs for members is $8kg for bisque fire (cone 06) and $15kg for final/glaze fire (Cone 6)
Shelf space is provided for monthly members and short term for weekly memberships.
Use of specialty brush on underglazes & glazes are paid for per use (13c/gm) or you can purchase your own as long as they are suitable for Cone 6 firings.
Clay can be bought from us only in full bags. We use mid fire clays and glazes and they are not to be mixed with any other material so damage is not caused to our kilns.
Large pieces will take additional time to fire and may incur an additional fee.
All wheels and surrounding table space must be cleaned properly and all tools and buckets washed up.
